クリエイターの手（CREATOR'S HAND）

CREATESYTLEのコラボレーション企画第2弾、”CREATOR'S HAND”。クリエイター達が作り出す作品、それは”クリエイターの手”からはじまる。

このアイデアは、27 o'clockのjasmineさんがCREATESTYLEのコンセプトを読んでいるときに思い浮かんだもの。色んな土地で何かを創っているアーティストの「手」を撮って、ひとつの作品にまとめたら、おもしろいのではないか、とjasmineさんが思ったところからはじまりました。

それでは世界で活躍するクリエイター達の”手”をご覧下さい。

"Creator's Hand", 2nd collaboration project by CREATESTYLE.
Jasmine, from "27 o'clock", hit upon this idea when he was reading CREATESTYLE's site concepts. He thought it would be interesting if photographs of hands of artists who are creating something in various places, would be gathered into one work.

■コメント : オープン・エアーのパフォーマンスで、演奏が終わった直後に手の平を撮影しました。血がたくさん流れている感じ。この手がソフィーの魂のようなメロディーを奏でるんだなぁ、なんて感動しながらシャッターを切りました。何かを創り出すアーティストの手って、魅力的です。今回は国をまたいだコラボレーションということで、他の方々の作品を拝見できるのも楽しみにしています。どうもありがとうございました。
■comment : The shot of her hand was taken just after their open-air performance, when her palm still had good circulation of the blood. Thinking that "this is the hand that makes Sophy's soulful melody possible", I was pretty much excited to capture the very moment. For me it is more than attractive that of artists' hands, which create anything. In this project, I am looking forward to see works from several other countries. Thank you.

■コメント : 時間がなくて中途半端なものになってしまったことをお詫びします。「クリエイター＝職人」なわけですが、みなさん特に変わった手をしているわけではなく、でも、かっこいいものを作り出す。それは、手が作っているのではなくて彼らの頭が作っているから。彼らの感覚、知識、センス。「頭の中の手」が作り出す優れた作品。もし頭の中身を撮れるのであれば撮ってみたいものです。
■comment : I apologize that my works are half done because I didn't have enough time. Creators are Artisans. They don't have unique hands, but they create something chilling. That is because their hands don't create things, but their brains do. Senses, and knowledges. Great works are created from "hands inside brains". If I can take shots of what people are thinking of, I would really want to.
